Introduction

Welcome to Costs to Expect which encompasses Budget Pro (“Costs to Expect”, “Budget Pro”, herein may be referred to as “our/us/we”.) Our mission at Costs to Expect is to provide fast, easy to use data management apps without tracking you or your data.

Your use of our platform constitutes acceptance of these terms. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms outlined herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.

Service Description

At Costs to Expect, we provide fast, easy to use data management tools. Budget Pro provides a number of features aimed at enabling the user to create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date budget.

User Rights and Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and ensuring responsible use. You must not share your log-in information with any third party or allow anyone to access the service on your behalf.

You must not access without authority, penetrate, interfere with, damage or disrupt (or attempt to do so) any part of the Service.

You may not inject content or code or otherwise alter or disrupt the way any page of the service is rendered or displayed in a user’s browser or device.

Third Party Websites

The Service and the Budget Pro App or communications from it may contain links to third party websites, features or applications. Any such links are provided for your information only and we do not accept any responsibility for the content relating to these links.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update our Terms of Service from time to time. You agree that we may notify you of these changes by posting them on the Budget Pro App. By continuing to use the service, you agree to the Amended Terms of Service and that they will apply from that point.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services for enhancement and evolution. Users will be duly notified of significant changes.

Payment Terms

Our Lifetime License fee: Users agree to pay the specified fee to continue using our service past the demo period of 30 days.

Payment Methods: We accept payments through our payment provider, Paddle.com

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is paramount to us—please review our detailed policy.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.

Warranties

You expressly understand and agree that:

  • Your use of Our Service and all of the information encompassed within it, is done so at your sole risk.

We make no warranties that:

  • The service we provide will meet your requirements
  • The service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free (though we will endeavour to correct errors which come to our attention as soon as possible)
  • The results which are obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of the Service or any information provided within it will meet your expectations
  • Any errors with the Service will be corrected (though we will make every effort to correct any errors which are brought to our attention as quickly as possible)

Our Liability

If we fail to comply with our Terms of Service, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for loss or damage which is not foreseeable.

Budget Pro will not be liable for any direct, indirect, casual, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information.

As a user, you accept that Costs to Expect and Budget Pro is not a financial advice service. As everyone’s financial situation is different, we do not make any representations, warranties or guarantees of any kind that the Service we provide is appropriate for you.

Termination and Suspension

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of these Terms of Service. If we determine that a breach has occurred, we reserve the right to take action as we deem appropriate, including all or any of the following actions:

  • Temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our Service
  • Issue of a warning to you
  • Legal action against you to recoup all cost associated with the breach
  • Further legal action against you should we deem this necessary
  • Disclosure of such information to law enforcement agencies as we deem is reasonably necessary

The actions listed are not limited and we make take other actions as we deem reasonably appropriate.

Complaints

We really hope you’ll be happy with the Costs to Expect and Budget Pro Service. However, should you have a complaint about the service, please email support@costs-to-expect.com. We are committed to acknowledging all complaints within 7 days and will endeavour to resolve your problem as soon as possible.

Cancelling your account with us

You may cancel your account with us at any time by going to our “Manage my Data” section within the Budget Pro App. If you delete your App Account, your purchase status will remain the same. If you have purchased a Lifetime Licence for Budget Pro, your account will remain as paid.

If you purchased a Lifetime Licence and wish to cancel within 30 days, you will be entitled to a Refund – please see our Refund Policy.
